Our trip to the West Coast was filled with surfers of all sorts. We had Wave Riders try out the board at the Wave House in San Diego before they rode the wave simulator. The SURFSET Team found a free hour to try out the simulator ourselves. Let's just say....it's a bit different from actual surfing (we wiped out more than a few times!)
We met some weekend surfers on Sunset Blvd in Los Angeles for a Trainer Certification & classes at Crunch LA. The rain didn't stop us from throwing our Launch Party catered by our friends at Qdoba, washed down with mixed drinks from ZICO and Avion Tequila with loud music & surf movies projected on the walls thanks to the awesome equipment of Supreme Audio.
We started getting feedback from our recent home purchasers, and they're loving the boards & workouts on the SURFSET Sessions network. Great to hear from them and excited to see how creative they can be with their RSXs! Our Get On Board Tour continued, rain included, up into San Fran where we certified more than 30 trainers from Western Athletic Clubs, Crunch and other studios. What a gorgeous city, even when wet, with some very fit and fun people.
We made our way through NorCal and to Track Town USA where we hosted demo classes for the University of Oregon. It was a good way to get the students to stop sweating about finals and start sweating on the boards! We may or may not have jumped the fence and run a quick lap around Hayward Field before we left for Seattle later that night....
